Role Overview: Forklift Logistics Specialist
As a Forklift Logistics Specialist at DHL, you will play a vital role in warehouse operations by efficiently handling stock movement and ensuring smooth logistics. Your primary responsibilities will include loading and unloading shipments, operating various types of forklifts, and maintaining inventory accuracy—all within a fast-paced, team-oriented, and safety-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate different types of forklifts, including stand-up, sit-down, clamp forklifts, and electric pallet jacks.
• Load, unload, move, and stage products and materials for 80% of assigned shifts.
• Ensure shipment accuracy through proper handling and verification of product counts.
• Maintain detailed inventory records and adhere to OSHA and MSDS safety standards.
• Inspect and maintain forklifts, including battery or LP tank changes.
• Keep work areas and equipment organized, clean, and in optimal condition.
• Support physical inventory counts and report any discrepancies.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Perform additional warehouse duties as required.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Forklift certification or completion of forklift training within 30 days of employment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of six months of warehouse experience and forklift operation.
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and ability to follow safety guidelines.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse management systems.
